CINCINNATI SNEAKERBALL HISTORY
In 2018, Cincinnati’s premier sneaker boutique, Corporate, and Bigger Than Sneakers (BTS) created the Annual Cincinnati SneakerBall, a fundraising event which features a picturesque evening of entertainment, tuxedos, ball gowns, and of course, sneakers.
Each year, a different beneficiary is chosen for the event to support local youth-focused charitable organizations. Our beneficiaries for SneakerBall have included: the Ohio’s division of Cleats for Kids to gather funds to purchase 600 pairs of new shoes for local youth as part of their Ready to Run initiative, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Charitable Care Fund, which addresses financial distress associated with significant out-of-pocket medical costs faced by families of children suffering from chronic illnesses or disabling conditions, and the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, an organization that supports youth education through mentorship, college and career readiness, and workforce development. We’ve even awarded multiple $1,000 scholarships to students in the Southwest Ohio Areas.
Special thanks to the following groups and individuals who have supported the event as sponsors over the years: Mercedes Benz of Fort Mitchell, Cincy Magazine, Batterii, Corporate, My Black is Beautiful (P&G), Jason Markk, Stance Socks, Fifth Third Bank, First Financial Bank, LuxCincy Real Estate, Jessie Bates III (Cincinnati Bengals), Mohamed Sanu (Atlanta Falcons), Darqueze Dennard
(Cincinnati Bengals), Shawn Williams (Cincinnati Bengals), and John Ross III (Cincinnati Bengals).
